Nearly two decades ago, Salvador Dominguez stepped into avocado farming with one guiding belief: be a good steward of the land you’ve been entrusted with.
What began in 2005 as helping a neighbor’s ranch grew into three avocado orchards and a lifelong commitment to farming with integrity.
Today, our avocado ranches serve as both abundant orchards and living examples of how thoughtful practices can nourish the land, soil, and future generations.
Escrow closes on the purchase of the home ranch in the Santa Clara River Valley — land with rocky, well-drained soil, ideal sun exposure, and its own water source. This ranch becomes the foundation for future innovation in sustainable avocado growing.

The family acquires neighboring Rancho El Perico, a 42-acre property with established Hass and GEM avocado plantings, expanding operations and deepening roots in the valley.

Rancho de León joins the family: 45 acres once planted with lemons, now being transformed into 25 acres of high-density GEM avocados — a living example of innovation and regeneration.

In our two decades of growing avocados, we’ve challenged ourselves to pioneer sustainable practices in the orchard. From rethinking irrigation schedules to introducing high-density plantings, our work enables avocado ranches to produce more fruit while using fewer resources.
